Job Summary
Supervise all nursing personnel and nursing-related functions on a specific shift while assessing staffing and resident needs to direct care. Manage day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department for an adult geriatric population, serving as a role model through safe, effective, and efficient clinical oversight. Interface with others to ensure efficient unit operations and maintain clinical competency by seeking opportunities for personal growth and expanded responsibilities. Work every other weekend from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
- Current CPR license
- Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
- Must possess a current CPR license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
- 1- 3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills
- Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility
