Job Summary
Assess, document, and implement nursing care plans for adult geriatric psychiatric patients with diagnoses such as Alzheimer's and other dementias. Identify and address behavioral changes, teach patients and families, and facilitate smooth intershift transitions while maintaining clinical competence. Communicate patient status changes and complete required documentation in a timely manner within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of Arkansas. This safety-sensitive role requires a current active RN license in Arkansas with greater than six months of experience, a BSN preferred, and successful completion of Basic Life Support training.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- current, active license to practice in Arkansas
- Greater than 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse
- Proof of high school or equivalent or higher education
- Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers
