Job Summary
RN seasonal position providing direct and indirect patient care in Med/Surg Observation. Collaborates with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Delivers nursing care using nursing processes and critical thinking; conducts patient education and develops teaching plans for patients and families. Assists physicians with procedures, performs skills requiring clinical and manual competency, and emphasizes patient safety. Maintains lifelong learning related to the nursing profession.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- RN license
- BLS Certification within 14 days of hire
- ACLS/PALS Specialty Certification (preferred)
