Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Surgical Care Unit will provide professional nursing care according to the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Responsibilities include employing critical thinking skills, assessing patient conditions, planning and evaluating care, monitoring patient progress, and delegating appropriate tasks. The role requires 1+ years of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting, an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, and current licensure and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support
