RN Scrub Nurse

The RN Scrub Nurse provides intraoperative nursing support in the Operating Room, assisting surgeons during operations and maintaining a sterile environment. Responsibilities include preparing instruments and supplies, readying the OR for procedures, and effective communication with the surgical team while anticipating the surgeon's needs and reacting quickly during surgery. Requires NYS RN license (or GN permit) with RN licensure preferred; CNOR certification and BSN are preferred. On-site 40-hour work week with on-call shifts for 24/7 coverage, including weekends and holidays, at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY. Sign-on incentives up to $15,000 may be available for experienced candidates. Education/experience minimum: graduate of an accredited nursing program; preferred: BSN; CNOR certification; clinical experience in acute or ambulatory settings.
