Job Summary
RN School Nurse to provide daily nursing care for students and staff in a Delaware charter school, administer medications, address health concerns, coordinate care with families and school staff, participate in IEP/504 meetings, maintain confidential health records, and ensure regulatory compliance. Requires BSN and Delaware RN license; 2+ years clinical nursing experience (3+ preferred); school or pediatric nursing experience encouraged. Offers a predictable weekday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays, following the school calendar. Emphasizes preventive care, health education, and collaboration with families, educators, and healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Licensed Registered Nurse in State of Delaware for School Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical nursing experience; three (3) years preferred
- Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred but not required
