Job Summary
Conduct surgical admission and recovery nursing care for patients transitioning from the operating room to the surgical ward. Manage patient flow, monitor post-operative status, and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure safe transitions. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols. Requires a Washington RN license, BLS certification, and one year of acute care experience. Part-time schedule with variable shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
- 1 year of acute care experience with a patient population similar to the department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at the facility
