Job Summary

Conduct patient exams, perform blood draws and injections, assist with specialist referrals, and manage medication refills while supporting provider workflows. Deliver patient education and handle medication refills within a fast-paced environment supported by knowledgeable staff. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient health information and adhere to privacy policies. Work full-time hours with a schedule dependent on patient needs, including evenings and weekends, with flexibility for overtime during high demand.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Ohio
  • CPR certification
  • Current driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Knowledge of Database software
  • Understanding of the role of Federally Qualified Health Centers as a safety net for all persons without regard for their ability to pay for services
  • Appreciation of patient-centered care in a medical home
  • Commitment to quality, comprehensive services through a team approach

  • Understanding of privacy policies and procedures regarding Patient Health Information (PHI)
