Job Summary
Collaborates with the surgeon and healthcare team to ensure safe surgical operations with optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for perioperative nursing, including scrub and circulating nurse duties, with a minimum of two years of diverse operating room experience. Applicants must hold a NYS RN license, complete an accredited RN First Assistant course, and demonstrate eligibility for CNOR certification.
Required Qualifications
- NYS license as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant course
- Proficient in perioperative nursing practice, both as a scrub nurse and a circulating nurse – minimum of two (2) years diversified operating room experience
- Eligible/current CNOR
