Job Summary
RN needed to join the Site Medical Team at Les Peters Academy in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities include providing general healthcare for students and staff within licensure scope, administering immunizations, conducting TB screens and vaccinations, delivering health education on topics like prevention of sports injuries, blood-borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral health, coordinating psychiatric orders and evaluations with the Clinical Director/Psychologist, coordinating with outside providers to meet students' health care needs, and ordering supplies and equipment. Requires an active Florida RN license; Bachelor's degree preferred; strong interpersonal skills; valid Florida driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- valid, clear Registered Nurse license from the state of Florida
- Bachelor’s degree in a related health care field is preferred, but not required
- minimum of two years of medical services experience is preferred, but not required
- good interpersonal skills
- valid State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record for past 3 years
