Job Summary
Administer medications within the scope of practice and hospital policies while assessing, evaluating, and documenting patients' physical and mental status. Communicate patient status with other health care disciplines using SBAR and coordinate the development of care plans. Perform and assist with medical and nursing procedures, provide health care education to patients and families, and maintain equipment inventories by troubleshooting malfunctions and following manufacturer instructions. Requires a Bachelors Nursing degree or College Diploma with two years of recent Med Surg experience, ACLS certification, and ability to multi-task in a direct patient care setting.
