Job Summary
The Resource Nurse (RN) oversees and serves as an immediate clinical resource to staff on the Fitch Unit. Responsibilities include conducting patient care, assisting nursing staff, collaborating with medical staff on clinical issues, and supporting cost control through innovative staff management. Candidates must possess an ASN with an active enrollment in a BSN program, have a minimum of two years of acute care experience, and hold a valid NH RN license or Compact Nursing License. Additional requirements include BLS certification and obtaining specialty certification within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of two (2) years of current experience in an acute care setting
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Hampshire or Compact Nursing License
- Life support authorization (BLS) appropriate to patient population
Desired Qualifications
- BSN Preferred
- Specialty certification within six (6) months of eligibility
