Job Summary
Administer medications within scope of practice and hospital policies while assessing, evaluating, and documenting patients' physical and mental status. Coordinate and develop care plans with all health care disciplines, perform nursing procedures, and provide health education to patients and families. Communicate patient status using SBAR and interpret lab results to maintain patient safety goals. Maintain equipment inventories, troubleshoot malfunctions, and complete preventive maintenance. Requires BLS certification and 2 years of RN experience; Bachelor's degree preferred. Supports the organization with compassionate, evidence-based practice and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- 2 Years RN Required
- College Diploma Nursing Required
- Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Ability to administer medications per policy and procedure
- Ability to follow the National Patient Safety Goals
- Ability to interpret lab and diagnostic results as it relates to patients status
- Ability to communicate with all disciplines using SBAR
- Ability to multi-task
