Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients in all settings using the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary personnel and acting as a patient advocate. Delegate care and participate in performance and practice improvement initiatives, ensuring actions reflect Kettering Health Networks mission and values. Report to the Clinical Nurse Manager and maintain licensure in Ohio with at least 12 months of acute or long-term care experience. Complete BLS certification and obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire. Schedule a minimum of 1152 hours per year across 12 shifts per a 6-week cycle, including weekend shifts and two holidays annually.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- At least 12 months of RN experience in an acute care or longterm care setting
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire
- Must be scheduled a minium of 1152 hours per calendar year
- Minimum of 12 shifts (144 hours) per a 6 week schedule
- 2 Holiday per year
