Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care while independently triaging patients in-person, via telephone, and through secure messages. Apply critical thinking to deliver medical regimens and delegate selected care functions based on staff credentials and competence. Collaborate with physicians, resident families, and clinic teams to improve quality of care and foster a learning environment that promotes ethical, holistic, and autonomous resident experiences. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent service, active Washington State RN license, BLS certification, and two years of acute care RN experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement lieu of education agreement
- Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
- Active BLS required prior to starting patient care
- Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
- NPI number obtained upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience as a RN - in an acute care setting preferred
- 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred
