RN Resident

RN Resident responsible for nursing care of patients requiring substantial specialized judgment and skill. Performs patient assessments, develops a prioritized holistic plan of care, safely implements and evaluates the plan, and communicates with patients, families, and health team members. Demonstrates professional nursing practice within MLH Mission, Vision and Values; supports care delivery with delegation as appropriate. Licenses and certifications include BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (American Heart Association) and Tennessee RN licensure. Skills include applying technical nursing principles, analytical assessment of complex patient conditions, synthesizing information to resolve patient needs, and effective handoffs and documentation. Physical demands include lifting and mobility tasks; work within a high-care hospital environment in Memphis, TN.
