Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Solid Organ Transplant PCU/Stepdown at Medical City Dallas. Deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, education for patients and families, thorough documentation, and timely response to patient needs. Role emphasizes admission assessment, ongoing monitoring, medication administration, and patient-family education about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up. Requires ACLS within 6 months and BLS within 30 days, Associate Degree with BSN required (Magnet Hospital) and minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience with transplant/PCU experience preferred. Schedule is Full-Time Days (7A-7P) with potential sign-on bonus. The facility is a large, Magnet-recognized tertiary care center that supports advanced nursing practice and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree; BSN required w/12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
- Minimum 1 year Acute Care RN experience required; PCU, Transplant experience preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
