Job Summary
Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Solid Organ Transplant PCU/Stepdown. Responsibilities include assessing patient status at admission and each shift, performing procedures and care activities as ordered, administering prescribed medications with monitoring, documenting care in the medical record, educating patients and families about conditions and treatment plans, and collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- Associate Degree; BSN required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
- ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Minimum 1 year Acute Care RN experience; PCU, Transplant experience preferred
