Job Summary
Assess, treat, and document care for adults with serious mental illness in a 20-bed inpatient facility. Provide individualized mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services while managing client risk and safety. Serve as a consultant and mentor to direct care staff, exercising independent judgment to ensure compliance with laws and division standards. Maintain client-centered therapeutic services through behavior management techniques and treatment planning. Requires a Florida RN license, accredited nursing school graduation, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse in Florida
- Certified in CPR
- Ability to effectively perform client/patient behavior management techniques (CPI) with appropriate training
- Ability to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families
- Ability to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening
- Drug Free Workplace Employer, DRUG TESTING REQUIRED
