Job Summary
Accurately assesses residents’ health status and educational/environmental needs on admission and ongoing basis; develops and revises care plans with an interdisciplinary team; documents assessments and care plans; administers medications and IV fluids; performs nursing interventions safely and timely; communicates plans to residents, families, and IDT; uses SBARR for physician notifications; monitors care plan delivery; participates in QAPI and addresses issues; assists with ADLs and responses to call lights; maintains current nursing practices and may be assigned other duties; requires RN nursing education and active RN license in the state of employment; CPR/AED certification and ability to stand/walk long periods; strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a registered nurse
- Current RN license in the state you will be working
- CPR/AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
