Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Performs duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards and mission, values. Applies professional accountability for nursing duties and adheres to certification requirements dictated by position/unit.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure as required
- Certifications: BLS; plus ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM as required by unit
- Physical requirements: push/pull/lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; bend/kneel/twist/squat
