Job Summary
RN provides patient care using the nursing process, evaluates care effectiveness of direct caregivers, coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to Mercy Service Standards and mission while supporting hospital operations and patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure accepted
- Education: Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; obtain within specified timeframe if not already current
- ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications as required by unit
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
