Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Regulatory Occupational Health & Workers Comp provides basic nursing care for clinic patients, supports onboarding, reviews medical questionnaires and immunizations, ensures CDC-recommended immunizations and infection-control compliance, administers vaccines and medications, conducts blood draws and lab specimen handling, documents patient care per clinic standards, educates patients on diagnostic procedures and vaccines, and coordinates workers’ compensation-related medical coordination with insurers and treatment providers. The role also involves maintaining OSHA records, assisting with lab and supply management, and supporting the transition-to-work process for employees, including attendance at related committee meetings and data reporting. Requires Associate’s degree, at least 3 years’ health-care experience, Florida RN licensure, BLS certification, and proficiency with PowerChart and Kronos.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Associate's Degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health care facility or private physician office
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
- Proficiency with PowerChart and Kronos
