Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating resident assessments and education. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Every Other Weekend and Rotating Holidays
- Must be available for Evening Shifts (2:00pm to 10:30pm)
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
