Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessment, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans for all phases of resident care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, families, and providers to plan, evaluate, and resolve care concerns. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within appropriate scope and competence levels. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
