Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, and families to plan, evaluate, and resolve care concerns while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel within defined skill levels and resident care needs. Maintain licensure in Minnesota and adhere to state practice acts and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Evening shift coverage from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with bi-weekly scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
