Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for all phases of preventative care and health maintenance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to plan, evaluate, and resolve care concerns. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency in age-specific standards and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
