Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, managing all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Coordinate resident assessments, education, and interventions while maintaining competency within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Evening shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm) with every-other-weekend and rotating holidays. Part-time schedule of 20 hours weekly. Licensed RN in Minnesota required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
