Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel. Coordinate resident assessment, education, and various nursing interventions within the full scope of practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in department-specific certifications and adhere to age and population-specific standards designated in the assigned clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
