Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating assessments, education, and interventions. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel within the scope of their competence. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards and adhere to state licensure and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Work evening shifts from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, every other weekend, and rotating holidays at this 42-bed skilled care facility in Brainerd, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
