Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to coordinate care and implement interventions. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license and 20 weekly hours on evening shifts from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
