Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatments across all phases of health maintenance and diagnosis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, families, and providers to plan and evaluate care while managing resident education and various nursing interventions. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
