Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement interventions for health maintenance and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to plan and evaluate care plans while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Ensure safe administration of care and resolve service concerns within the full scope of nursing expertise. Maintain competency in age-specific standards and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Every Other Weekend and Rotating Holidays
- Must be available for Evening Shifts (2:00pm to 10:30pm)
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
