Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to coordinate care and implement interventions while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Shifts are 8 hours (2:00pm to 10:30pm) on an every-other-weekend and rotating holiday schedule. This part-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and works at Good Samaritan's 42-bed skilled care facility in Brainerd, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
