Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary providers to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license and availability for PRN shifts including weekend and holiday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month
- Must be available to work two weekend shifts
- Must be available to work holiday rotation
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
