Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care plans with families and interdisciplinary teams while managing preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases. Delegate tasks to assistive personnel within their scope of competence and ensure safe administration of resident care. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting. This role requires a Licensed RN in Minnesota, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Schedule is PRN with various shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
