Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education. Manage all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment while serving as charge nurse when needed. Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency in department-specific standards and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act. Work as a PRN nurse with varying shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations, in a 42-bed skilled care facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
