Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessment, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans for residents in a 42-bed skilled care facility. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to evaluate care outcomes, while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Maintain competency in age-specific standards and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Available for PRN shifts including weekends and holidays, with a requirement of six shifts per month.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
