Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care while managing preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases. Coordinate resident assessments, education, and interventions, and serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to appropriate personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Work as a PRN nurse with varying shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations, in a 42-bed skilled care facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
