Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for all phases of health maintenance and diagnosis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate care outcomes and educate residents. Serve as charge nurse when available, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within scope and competence. Maintain competency in state practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act while managing two weekend shifts and holiday rotations. Work a PRN schedule with various shifts, including overnight hours from 6:00pm to 6:00am.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
