RN - Registered Nurse -Telemetry Unit - Multiple Shifts

Conduct direct nursing care on a 18-bed telemetry unit, implementing and monitoring patient care plans while assessing, interpreting rhythms, and analyzing lab values. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and manage IVs, medications, wound care, and patient education. Serve as a primary coordinator of discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Maintain licensure with the Alabama Board of Nursing and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Provide high-level care to patients with cardiovascular issues or co-morbidities requiring telemetry monitoring at UAB St. Vincent's East.
