Job Summary
Assess patients and interpret cardiac rhythms on a 18-bed telemetry unit, managing IVs, wound care, and medication administration while monitoring lab values. Coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team to implement care plans, communicate patient conditions, and lead discharge planning. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established protocols, educating patients and families to prevent emergent situations. Requires current Alabama RN licensure and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
