Job Summary
Conduct direct nursing care on the 6North telemetry unit by administering medications, managing IVs, performing wound care, and interpreting cardiac rhythms. Monitor and record patient conditions while coordinating multidisciplinary care plans and executing physician orders. Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Provide patient and family education regarding cardiovascular monitoring and interventions. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification, and a nursing diploma. Full-time 12-hour shifts available days or nights.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
