Job Summary
Conduct direct nursing care on a 18-bed telemetry unit, monitoring cardiovascular rhythms, interpreting lab values, and administering medications per established protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while coordinating with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines to manage discharge planning and prevent emergent situations. Provide patient and family education, perform wound care, and manage IV therapy. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification, and a nursing diploma. Full-time shifts available days (7 am–7 pm) or nights (7 pm–7 am).
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
