Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care on the 6North telemetry unit by implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patients, and interpreting rhythms and lab values. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and manage IVs, medications, wound care, and patient education. Serve as the primary coordinator for discharge planning needs while utilizing advanced telemetry technology to detect and prevent medical or cardiovascular issues. Full-time days or nights shifts available with up to $20,000 bonus.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
