Job Summary
Assess patients, interpret cardiac rhythms, and manage IVs and medications on the 6North telemetry unit. Implement care plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and lead discharge planning while educating families. Monitor patient conditions, document updates, and communicate status to providers to prevent emergent situations. Perform wound care and analyze lab values using advanced telemetry support. Requires current Alabama RN licensure and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
