RN- Registered Nurse -Telemetry Unit - Multiple Shifts

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing, coordinating discharge planning needs, and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines and carry out physician and nursing orders. Analyze lab values, interpret rhythms, and manage IVs, medications, and wound care. Educate patients and families. This role supports patients with cardiovascular issues on a 12-bed telemetry unit within UAB St. Vincent's East, where advanced technology enables high-level bedside treatment.
