Job Summary
Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions in the Surgical Short Stay unit. Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to implement and evaluate care across the continuum, from preventive services through follow-up. Demonstrate comprehensive nursing expertise and adapt to the fast-paced environment while working closely with nursing leaders to advance organizational goals. This role requires a full-time, 12-hour night shift with 36 weekly hours and a starting rate of $35.00 to $48.00. Candidates must hold an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
- National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)
- Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Required department specific competencies
- Required certifications
- Drug screen
- Pre-employment background screening
