Job Summary
Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions in the Surgical Short Stay unit. Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to implement and evaluate care plans across the continuum of preventive services, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Demonstrate comprehensive nursing expertise while working closely with nursing leaders to advance organizational goals. Requires an unencumbered RN license, accredited nursing degree, and Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time day shifts with 12-hour rotations and a starting rate between $35.00 and $48.00.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
- National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)
- Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Required department specific competencies
- Required certifications
- Drug screen
- Pre-employment background screening
