RN - Registered Nurse - Surgical Rehab

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for patients undergoing orthopedic, bariatric, and neurosurgical procedures. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate within a fast-paced unit specializing in quick turnarounds. Full-time night shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) at UAB St. Vincent's East.
